How a job moves from the phone to the schedule to the truck to the invoice. Who gets interrupted. What's written on the whiteboard that isn't in any software. You can do that on a video call, and for our clients outside Kansas City we do. But standing in the office, you notice the sticky note on the monitor that turns out to be the actual system of record. These are the patterns we've seen so far in metro contracting businesses, stated as observations, not as a claim about your company. The trades stack Metro contractors, flooring, roofing and electrical shops tend to run a job platform, a scheduler and an accounting tool that were each chosen well and never introduced to each other.
